Ibrox Stadium Tour: A Dive into the History of the Glasgow Rangers
15th December 2023
Immersing ourselves in a true monument of Scottish football
Our players had the incredible opportunity to visit Ibrox Stadium, the legendary home of the Glasgow Rangers—one of Scotland's most iconic football clubs. Surrounded by tradition, history, and grandeur, this visit took them behind the scenes of an emotionally charged venue, offering privileged access to the locker rooms, players' tunnel, conference rooms, and the famous pitch itself.
To stay engaged and make the most of the experience, each player was given a questionnaire to complete during the tour. This interactive approach helped them retain key information while also earning points for the Eduscup—our internal ranking system based on involvement, performance, and commitment.
A Bit of History…
Founded in 1872, Rangers Football Club is one of the most successful clubs in the world. Based in Glasgow, they are one half of Scotland’s historic football rivalry with Celtic FC. The Rangers have won over 50 Scottish league titles—a world record—along with numerous domestic cups. In 1972, they etched their name into European history by winning the European Cup Winners’ Cup. Ibrox Stadium, their mythical home ground, is famed for its electric atmosphere and for symbolizing the deep-rooted passion of Scottish football.
This visit was a perfect blend of football, culture, and education offering our players a deeper immersion into the world of British professional football while reinforcing the values and knowledge that shape their development on and off the pitch.
