An Exciting Start of the season

First steps blending sport, local culture, and team spirit in the heart of Scotland

It’s the beginning of a fantastic journey for our new student-athletes! Throughout this busy first week filled with exploration, initial training sessions, and bonding activities, everyone started finding their bearings in Scotland. Supported by a caring and attentive staff, they gradually adapted to the academy's rhythm, ready to tackle the challenges of the upcoming year. Here’s a recap of an intense week filled with emotions and new encounters!

Exploring the Training Center – Alliance Park

On their second day, players visited their new training facility, Alliance Park, under bright Scottish sunshine! The academy director introduced them to the history of Edusport and the Caledonian Braves, highlighting the community-driven project that led to naming the stadium. Indeed, "Alliance Park" was chosen by supporters themselves, reflecting the club’s community spirit.

Our young players also met their coaches and the technical and medical staff before participating in their very first session on the pitch.

Glasgow Treasure Hunt & Launch of Edu’s Cup

On their first Friday in Scotland, players discovered Glasgow through an original treasure hunt designed to promote team cohesion and help them familiarize themselves with their new surroundings. This playful group activity allowed everyone to bond, get to know each other better, and immerse themselves in the local culture.

This event also marked the official launch of the Edu’s Cup, an internal competition that will run throughout the year. Our three competing teams are:

• Les Braves Coqs
• Les Phoenix de Glasgow
• SBR – Sobriété

This initiative embodies a healthy and unifying competitive spirit, central to the values we instill in our players.

Studio Photoshoot & New Jerseys

Finally, our academy members participated in a studio photoshoot to celebrate their arrival and capture memories of their initial days at the academy. It was an opportunity for each player to proudly wear the new season’s jersey in a relaxed, musical atmosphere. A special thank you to Daniel, our photographer, for this wonderful session, and to all the players for their great spirits!
