A session full of intensity, tactical discipline, and English immersion alongside the Caledonian Braves

This Tuesday, our players had the incredible opportunity to take part in a joint training session with the First Team of the Caledonian Braves, a club competing in the Lowland League (Scotland’s 5th division).

It was a key moment in their development, offering our young athletes a firsthand experience of a semi-professional club training environment. The intensity, physical demands, and tactical discipline required at this level made it a true test of their abilities. Every detail mattered: off-the-ball movement, technical accuracy, on-field communication was a full immersion into the day-to-day realities of a senior player in a competitive setting.

Beyond the sporting challenge, the session helped build bonds between our academy players and the more experienced Braves squad, many of whom they may end up sharing the field with later this season. It was a valuable opportunity for integration and team cohesion.

Finally, it also served as a great chance for our players to put their English skills into practice in real-life situations—whether it was understanding tactical instructions, communicating effectively on the pitch, or simply chatting in the locker room. This type of experience is a true accelerator for both personal growth and athletic development.

A memorable and formative session that brought our players one step closer to the standards of senior football.
