"I wanted to join the Academy to learn and improve my English as well as to progress in rugby with different coaches and a different rugby club (Hills). I also wanted to become more independent in everyday life (managing a shared apartment, a food budget and a timetable).

I have progressed enormously in English thanks to the courses offered and also thanks to my rugby club where I only speak English. The training with the academy is great. Coaches give us lots of advice on all aspects. The Scots are very welcoming and kind. Glasgow is a great city with lots of places to visit. I really appreciate this year because it brings me a lot of things, in terms of independence, sport and learning a new language."
